New York

At the end of October we went to New York. I had never been to New York but was so excited to go. We stayed in a hotel in midtown and walked all around the city. The first day we were there we walked around and explored and walked down to Rock Center. That night we went to Time Square and went to get cheesecake at Juniors. I have to say Juniors had by far the best cheesecake ever.

The following day we woke up early and went down to Rock Center again to go to the Today Show. I was so excited to go and have always wanted to see the Today Show live. It was neat to see them film and to see the set. Matt will watch the Today Show some mornings and text me now saying "Look we have been there."

After the Today Show we went to the New York Library and the Grand Central Station.

Matt had a meeting with an Attorney in New York so I explored the shopping but was not tempted to buy anything because I was newly pregnant. After Matt's meeting we ate lunch and walked back to our hotel. We walked and went into several shops on Fifth Avenue. We also went to the building where Suits was filmed and took a picture in front.

That night we walked from our hotel to the Temple. It was so neat to be outside in the busy city one second and then feel the peace of the Temple the next. After the Temple we went to Katz and ate our body weight in food.

Our last day in New York we woke up and went on a walk in Central Park. Following our run we went to this bagel place that was amazing and had homemade cream cheese. After we finished our bagels we went back to the hotel and changed and went to the Met. We loved the Met and spent a good amount of time just relaxing on the roof eating lunch. It was one of my favorite places in New York. After the Met we went down to Battery Park, the Stock Market, and the 9/11 memorial. I especially loved the 9/11 memorial it was neat to see the new buildings they built where the twin towers use to be. Following the 9/11 memorial we went to Eatly. We ate dinner there and saw the Flat Iron building.

I loved New York and could live there in a heart beat. I think there is so much fun stuff to do there. It was a fun trip.
